From woodworkers, metalsmiths and cutting-edge fashion designers to bakers and chefs, Portland is full of world-class artisans. Inspired by these talented makers, Grace Bonney (Design*Sponge), Greg Hennes (Antler and Co.) and Matt Pierce (Wood & Faulk) teamed up to create The Portland Bazaar, a curated holiday fair that celebrates the high-quality handmade work being produced by Portland’s creative community.
The Portland Bazaar will provide a unique spin on traditional holiday fairs. In addition to offering a curated selection of vendors in a wide range of categories (clothing, accessories, home goods, books, music, vintage wares, fine art, food and spirits), the Bazaar will also offer unique demonstrations and classes, including custom bike frame building and DIY workshops that teach visitors how to make holiday wreaths from local Portland flora.
To compliment the excitement happening inside the Bazaar, the street in front of Sandbox Studio will be closed to traffic and lined with some Portland’s finest food trucks. We aim to provide each and every guest with not only great holiday gift options and DIY ideas, but tasty snacks and drinks to go along with them.
The Portland Bazaar will feature upwards of 70 carefully chosen sellers that wonderfully represent the city’s creative community.

I was wondering if you were excepting any additional vendors? If so what size space & fees!
Thanks so much!

Hey guys, I wanted to know if it’s possible to get into the sale or not… I just found out about it and I do print design and have a calendar, cards and other goods that I have handmade and have sold at various sales and have an etsy shop where you can find my perpetual calendar which has been published in a calendar book. I would love to know more information if I can be a part of this.
here is my etsy shop site : http://www.etsy.com/shop/ettodesign

Thanks for your interest, Lena! We are taking requests for participation here at portlandbazaar@gmail.com. If you would drop a note to that email, we’ll put you on the notification list.
Hi! I was just wondering if most sellers will be accepting debit/credit cards as payment methods, or should attendees plan to bring cash? (If the latter, will there be an ATM anywhere nearby?)
Thanks!
Hi L.C., yes we are recommending to our vendors to get a square account so they can accept bank cards for sales, also since we won’t have an ATM on premises.
Unfortunately, I will be out of town Dec 10-11. Will there be an online vendor catalog available before or after the event? Thanks.
Sorry you’ll miss it, Paula. I don’t think we have plans for an online catalog, thanks for asking.
Is there a cost to come to the Bazaar? What area of Portland is this located?
Thank you,
Michele
